CAREEER NOTES:
- Has played parts of 3 seasons professionally in Finland with Ilves Tampere in addition to spending the 2009-10 campaign with Brandon of the Western Hockey League.
- Represented Finland at the 2010 and 2011 World Junior Championships.
- Named Best Forward at the 2009 IIHF World Under 18 Championships, leading the tournament with 10 goals and 9 assists, the 19 points breaking the previous tourney record set by Alexander Ovechkin.
- Selected by Edmonton in the fourth round (101st overall) of the 2009 NHL Entry Draft.
SEASON NOTES:
- In first North American professional season after playing 3 of the last 4 seasons in Finland's SM-liiga.
- Scored his first AHL goal Nov. 21 at Texas in his first career AHL game.
- Assigned to ECHL Stockton out of Barons' camp, opened the season with the Thunder, but was reassigned to OKC the first time Nov. 20.
- Named as a reserve for the 2013 ECHL All-Star Game at Loveland, Colo., but didn't play because of a promotion to the AHL.
- Notched 38 points (18G, 20A) in 29 games over 2 stints for Stockton.
- Recorded first AHL 2-point game with a goal and an assist Jan. 18 vs. San Antonio.
- From Jan. 11 (when he began his second stint in OKC) until the end of the regular season, he ranked 3rd in the AHL with 43 points (16G, 27A) in 41 games.
- Finished this season tied for 10th in AHL rookie scoring with 45 points in a total of 46 games over a pair of stints, 17 goals and 28 assists.
