OILERS ASSIGN KYTNAR TO STOCKTON

By Chris Wescott,

The Edmonton Oilers have assigned Center Milan Kytnar to the Stockton Thunder of the ECHL, the Oklahoma City Barons front office announced today.

The 6-0, 180-pound forward skated in 78 games with the Barons last year, scoring 13 goals and adding 16 assists. He played in one playoff game. This is his first trip to the ECHL.

Kytnar was originally a fifth round (127th overall) pick by the Oilers in the 2007 NHL Entry Draft.

Kytnar has missed all six of the Barons’ games this season with a lower body injury.
