OILERS RECALL DEFENSEMAN BRAD HUNT

The Edmonton Oilers recalled defenseman Brad Hunt from the Oklahoma City Barons, Oilers General Manager Craig MacTavish announced today.
Hunt, a 5-9, 174-pounder from Ridge Meadows, B.C., has appeared in 27 games with the Barons this season, scoring 15 points (3-12-15), the most by a Barons defenseman this season. Hunt signed with Edmonton in the off season after playing two seasons with the Chicago Wolves. Prior to turning pro, Hunt played four seasons at Bemidji State University in Minnesota. This is Hunt’s first call up to the National Hockey League.
Oklahoma City begins a home and home series with the San Antonio Rampage tonight in San Antonio at 7 p.m. The teams return to Oklahoma City tomorrow night for the finale of the weekend set at 7 p.m. at the Cox Convention Center. It’s Country Night with the Barons. Fans are encouraged to wear their finest cowboy boots and hats to the game. The first 2,000 fans through the doors receive a foam cowboy hat.
