OMARK RECALLED BY EDMONTON

The Edmonton Oilers recalled forward Linus Omark from the Oklahoma City Barons, Oilers General Manager Steve Tambellini announced today.Omark, a 5-9, 168-pounder from Overtornea, Sweden has appeared 18 games with the Barons this season, scoring 16 points (6-10-16). The Oilers 4th round draft choice (97th overall) in the 2007 NHL Entry Draft, has played in 56 NHL games, scoring 5 goals with 22 assists.
Oklahoma City finishes its season-long six-game road trip Wednesday against the Peoria Rivermen, AHL affiliate of the St. Louis Blues. Faceoff is 7 p.m. The Barons will skate in two home games Friday and Saturday against the Lake Erie Monsters, AHL affiliate of the Colorado Avalanche. Faceoff is 7 p.m. at the Cox Convention Center.
