By Josh Evans, OKC Barons

The Oklahoma City Barons, American Hockey League affiliate of the Edmonton Oilers, released a list of opponents the team will play during the 2011-12 hockey season.

The Barons will play a substantial portion of its games against its division rivals and closest opponents.  The Barons will play 10 games against the Texas Stars and eight each against the Houston Aeros, San Antonio Rampage and Abbotsford Heat.  Oklahoma City will play all 14 of the teams in the Western Conference during the season, including two new opponents.  The Barons will play eight games against the Charlotte Checkers and four games against the Rochester Americans.
