NEW PARTNER BRINGS MORE ENERGY TO BARONS GAMES STARTING FRIDAY
By Josh Evans, OKC BaronsFans will notice a new Barons family partner featured on the ice resurfacing machine when the Barons take on the Rockford IceHogs this Friday at the Cox Convention Center.
Enogex, an OGE Energy Corp. company in the midstream natural gas business, has joined the Barons as part of the company’s 25th Anniversary celebration and headquarters relocation to downtown OKC this spring. The ice resurfacing machine features the Enogex company logo, along with a call to recruit new employees.
Enogex currently owns and operates more than 8,000 miles of pipe, eight processing plants and 24 billion cubic feet of natural gas storage capacity in Oklahoma and Texas. By March 15 it will have moved more than 400 of its employees to the Leadership Square building in the downtown area.

Originally invented in 1949 by Frank J. Zamboni, ice resurfacing machines are an iconic symbol of hockey games; the ice resurfacing machine provides a fresh, smooth sheet of ice for hockey games across the globe.
The Barons skate in three games this weekend, all at home. Friday, they take on the Rockford IceHogs at 7 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, the Barons battle their division rival the Abbotsford Heat. Faceoff Saturday is 7 p.m. Faceoff Sunday is 4 p.m. All three games will be played at the Cox Convention Center.
Saturday is Team Poster Night. The first 2,000 fans through the doors will receive a team poster. Following the game Sunday, fans are invited to skate with the team following the game.
