BARONS COACHING STAFF TO PARTICIPATE IN PROSPECT TOURNAMENT WITH OILERS DRAFT PICKS

The Oklahoma City Barons parent club, the Edmonton Oilers begin play in the Vancouver Canucks Young Stars Tournament September 11 in Penticton, British Columbia. Head coach Todd Nelson along with assistant coaches Gerry Fleming and Rocky Thompson will participate in the event and observe the young talent in the Oilers system.The tournament features prospects from the Oilers, Calgary Flames, Vancouver Canucks, San Jose Sharks and Winnipeg Jets. The prospects from all the teams will play a total of eight games in a round-robin style format over the five-day event at the South Okanagan Events Centre in Penticton.
As an added bonus, all games featuring the Edmonton Oilers will be streamed live and for free. All the games can be seen by following this link. Game times are listed below:

The Barons home opener is slated for October 15 at the Cox Convention Center.
