Seven players with ties to the Oklahoma City Barons are taking part in the Edmonton Oilers Development Camp beginning June 25 in Edmonton.

The Oilers Development camp gives the coaching and hockey operations staff an opportunity to check on the development of younger players within the Oilers organization.  In addition to on and off ice training sessions, the players participate in discussions about proper nutrition, fitness and lifestyle.

Players with ties to the Barons that are participating in the camp include: goaltenders Olivier Roy and Tyler Bunz; defensemen Martin Marincin and Brandon Davidson; forwards Curtis Hamilton, Cameron Abney and Ryan Martindale.

Roy, Marincin, Hamilton, Abney and Martindale each appeared in games with the Barons during the 11-12 season.  Davidson played with the Barons during the 10-11 season.  Bunz was assigned to the Barons during their 2012 Calder Cup playoff run.

The Oilers Development Camp will be held June 25 – July 2 in the Edmonton area.

The Oklahoma City Barons home opener is October 19.  A variety of ticket packages are available to meet every individual or group need.  Packages ranging from 7-game and 11-game packs to Full Season Seats are available.  Call the Barons’ front office at 405-232-4625 for information on groups, Season Seats and other ticket packages.
