HUNT REASSIGNED TO OKLAHOMA CITY

The Edmonton Oilers have reassigned defenseman Brad Hunt to the Oklahoma City Barons, Oilers General Manager Craig MacTavish announced today.
Hunt, a 5-9, 174-pounder from Ridge Meadows, B.C., appeared in three games for the Oilers during his first call up to the National Hockey League. Hunt has played in 27 games with the Barons this season, scoring 15 points (3-12-15), the most by a Barons defenseman this season.
Hunt signed with Edmonton in the off season after playing two seasons with the Chicago Wolves. Prior to turning pro, Hunt played four seasons at Bemidji State University in Minnesota.
Oklahoma City returns home Thursday to face the Utica Comets at 7 p.m. CT before hosting the Charlotte Checkers in a two-game set Friday and Saturday at 7 p.m. CT each night. Thursday is a Winning Weekday, Friday is Barons Night and Saturday marks the return of the Drive Away Every Saturday promotion.
