The Oklahoma City Barons are hosting Miracles on Ice Night this Friday when they play the Charlotte Checkers at the Cox Convention Center.

All 501c3 Organizations in the State of Oklahoma were invited to participate in the program.  For every ticket to this game sold by a participating 501c3 organization, the Barons will return $4 to that organization. The event is to raise money and give back to the non-profit organizations and causes in the state.

The Barons will also be wearing one-of-a-kind jerseys for this game.  The jerseys will feature the Special Olympics logo on the crest and will be the royal blue/orange color combination of the Edmonton Oilers home jerseys.  These unique jerseys will be available for bids in a live auction following the game.  All proceeds from the auction will benefit Special Olympics Oklahoma.

The Barons are on the home for two games this week.  February 2, the Barons host the San Antonio Rampage, AHL affiliate of the Florida Panthers.  February 3, they host the Charlotte Checkers, AHL affiliate of the Carolina Hurricanes.  Faceoff for both games is 7 p.m. at the Cox Convention Center.  Both games can be heard on the Barons flagship station, 96.1 KXY.
