OILERS RECALL LABARBERA AND ASSIGN POTTER; BARONS RECALL RIMMER

The Edmonton Oilers recalled goaltender Jason LaBarbera from Oklahoma City and in a separate transaction, assigned defenseman Corey Potter to the Barons. 

The Oklahoma City Barons also recalled goaltender Ty Rimmer from loan to the Quad City Mallards of the Central Hockey League.

LaBarbera appeared in two games with the Barons, posting a 0-1-1-0 record, a 1.94 goals against average and .953 save percentage.

Rimmer has a 4-3-2-0 record in nine games played with the Mallards this season, a 3.17 goals against average and .894 save percentage.

Potter has played in 12 games between Edmonton and Oklahoma City this season, registering three points.

Oklahoma City skates at home tomorrow against the Texas Stars at 7 p.m.  It's a Winning Weekday.  Should the Barons win the game, everyone in attendance earns a ticket to the next Weekday game absolutely FREE!
