BARONS D-MAN DECK NAMED STARTER FOR ECHL ALL STAR GAME

Oklahoma City Barons defenseman Nathan Deck was named a starter for the ECHL All Star Game.
Deck, a 5-11, 185-pounder from Sedley, Saskatchewan was signed by the Barons to a PTO on December 11. Prior to skating with Oklahoma City, Deck played in 19 games with the Stockton Thunder, scoring 17 points (5-12-17). He began his pro career with Stockton last season, scoring 26 points (7-19-26) in 60 games.
Prior to turning pro, Deck played four full seasons with the Prince Albert Raiders of the Western Hockey League. In 272 games over those four seasons, he scored 118 points (22-96-118).
The 2013 ECHL All Star Game is January 23 at the Budweiser Event Center in Loveland, Colorado.
Oklahoma City begins a three-games in three-nights stretch Friday against Grand Rapids Griffins at 6 p.m. Saturday, the visit Milwaukee for the first time this season at 7 p.m. The weekend concludes in Chicago on Sunday at 4 p.m. All three games can be heard on the Barons flagship station, 96.1 KXY.
