FOUR OKCYHA TEAMS EARN LEAGUE CHAMPIONSHIPS

Four Oklahoma City Youth Hockey Association teams won their league championships in Dallas the weekend of March 8 - 10. 

The victorious teams were the OKC Oil kings Miget Minor Gold, OKC Oil Kings Bantam Green, OKC Oil Kings Pee Wee AA and OKC Oil Kings Pee Wee Green. 

The teams compete in the Dallas Stars Travel Hockey League. The DSTHL pits teams from Texas and Oklahoma in a competitive environment geared toward providing proper competition for players of appropriate skill levels.  The OKC Oil Kings won championships in four of the 14 divisions of the DSTHL.

The Barons will enjoy a couple of days off before returning to action next week with home games on Tuesday, March 19 against Rochester and Friday, March 22 against Houston.  Faceoff for both games is 7 p.m. at the Cox Convention Center.
