OILERS RETURN MAGNUS PAAJARVI TO BARONS

The Edmonton Oilers returned forward Magnus Paajarvi to the Oklahoma City Barons, Oilers General Manager Steve Tambellini announced today.

Paajarvi, a 6-2, 204-pounder from Norrkoping, Sweden, has scored 22 points (5-17-22) in 27 games played.  In 41 games with the Oilers this season, he has six points (2-4-6). The Oilers 1st round selection (10th overall) in the 2009 NHL Entry Draft, he has played in 121 NHL games, scoring 42 points (17-25-42).

Oklahoma City is on the road this weekend for two games.  Friday they take on the Milwaukee Admirals, AHL affiliate of the Nashville Predators at 7 p.m.  Saturday, they tangle with the Grand Rapids Griffins, AHL affiliate of the Detroit Red Wings at 6 p.m.  Both games can be heard on the Barons flagship station, 96.1 KXY.
