The Edmonton Oilers played their second to last pre-season game at home tonight against the Winnipeg Jets at Rexall Place. Oklahoma City connection Tyler Pitlick had an assist in the win.

Winnipeg had the lead going into the second period after Chris Thorburn scored with just 0:58 remaining in the first. The Oilers tied after Jesse Joensuu made the tip in with the assist from the Barons Tyler Pitlick.

Edmonton took the lead with 10:38 left in the second with Will Acton’s goal making the score 2-1 Oilers.

A few Barons players saw action tonight, Mark Arcobello put up 5 shots on goal, Taylor Fedun added 2 shots and Tyler Pitlick with 2 shots and his assist. 

The Oilers will play their last pre-season game at Rexall Place tomorrow night facing off against the New York Rangers, puck drop is set for 8 pm ct. Edmonton will close out the pre-season  this Friday in Oklahoma City against the Dallas Stars in the NHL Showcase at 7 pm. For more information contact the Barons office at (405) 232-GOAL.
