OMARK SCORES GAME CLINCHING SHOOTOUT GOAL IN FIRST NHL ACTION

OKLAHOMA CITY- Barons’ forward Linus Omark, who was recalled by the Edmonton Oilers on Wednesday, scored the game clinching goal in an overtime shootout against the Tampa Bay Lightning last night.


Seeing his first NHL action, Omark also netted his first NHL point with an assist in the game. Fellow Oklahoma City Baron on call-up, Ryan O’Marra, also had an assist in Edmonton’s 4-3 win.

The Oilers play the Vancouver Canucks in Edmonton tomorrow night at 6:00 p.m.
