TODAY: The Barons host the Texas Stars (Dallas Stars) in the first of 12 meetings between the South Division rivals. OKC won 8 of the 10 head-to-head matchups last season. This is Game 5 of a season-high 7-game homestand, during which OKC is 2-2-0-0. The Barons enter today’s contest off a 6-4 loss to Houston on Friday, a game that was tied 4-4 after 2 periods. Texas has not played since defeating Milwaukee 3-1 on Wednesday at Cedar Park Center. That snapped a 3-game losing streak for the Stars, who like the Barons are 3-3-0-0 on the season.

OKC has 20 two-goal games by individuals since the last hat trick (3 this season and 17 in 2011-12) .
STREAKING SCHULTZ: Justin Schultz leads the Barons in goals (4) and assists (6) through the first 6 games. Schultz is the only Baron to register a point in each contest. His 6-game point streak is tied for second in the AHL in 2012-13. Schultz is tied with Houston’s Mikael Granlund for the lead in rookie scoring with 10 points and is tied with Rochester’s T.J. Brennan for the lead in defensemen scoring.
