Philippe Cornet scored a team-best seventh goal of the season Sunday to help the Oklahoma City Barons whip the San Antonio Rampage 4-1 in an American Hockey League game at AT&T Center.

The Barons finished a three-games-in-three-days stretch with a 2-1-0-0 record, only losing a one-goal decision on Friday night to Charlotte at the Cox Center. But the four standings points picked up over the weekend helped Oklahoma City (6-2-0-1) remain near the top of the Western Conference's West Division. The Barons are two standings points behind the Houston Aeros — a team Oklahoma City beat 5-4 in a shoot-out on Saturday night.
