ALUMNI REPORT: MARINCIN MAKES NHL DEBUT

Martin Marincin made his National Hockey League debut as the Edmonton Oilers defeated the Colorado Avalanche 8-2 Thursday evening. Taylor Hall registered a hat trick in the win and former Oklahoma City Baron Mark Arcobello had a goal as the Oilers had 28 shots on goal for the game.
Marincin registered a plus-one and had two hits in 14:45 of ice time. Current Barons team captain Anton Lander played in his first game for the Oilers this season. Lander had three hits and won 73 percent of his faceoffs on the night. He had 11:29 of ice time.
Marincin, Lander and defenseman Corey Potter were recalled to the Oilers on Wednesday. The Oilers are back in action Saturday at home against the Calgary Flames at 9 p.m. CT.
