Philippe Cornet and Ryan Keller scored first-period goals to lift the Barons to a 4-1 win over the San Antonio Rampage on Sunday at the AT&T Center.

Oklahoma City struck first with a goal by Cornet at 7:54 of the first period on a centering pass from Gilbert Brule. It was Cornet's seventh, matching his goal total from his rookie year last season when he played 60 games.

San Antonio tied the score with a power play goal by Mike Kostka from the point at 15:35, but the Barons led 2-1 at the first intermission when Colten Teubert found Keller on a 3-on-1 and Keller put home his third of the season.

The second period was scoreless.

Gilbert Brule tipped in a Mark Arcobello point shot at 13:44 to give the Barons a 3-1 cushion. Josh Green completed the scoring with an empty-net goal with 57 seconds remaining.

David LeNeveu upped his record to 2-0-1 by stopping 26 of 27 San Antonio shots. Tyler Plante started and took the loss to fall to 0-2-0 as the Rampage dropped their fourth straight to fall to 3-5-0-0. Plante left the game late in the second period at a stoppage of play and Brian Foster finished as the Barons collected 33 shots. 

The Barons, winners of two straight and 6-2-0-1 on the season return home for two days before continuing this four-game trip in Abbotsford, B.C., against the Heat, with the next game on Thursday at 9 pm CDT.
