The Edmonton Oilers have recalled forward Linus Omark from the Oklahoma City Barons, General Manager Craig MacTavish announced today. 

Omark has played in 12 games with Oklahoma City this season, scoring 12 points (8-4-12). The Overtornea, Sweeden, native was drafted in the 4th round (97th overall) of the 2007 NHL Entry Draft by Edmonton. Omark has played 65 games with the Oilers during the 2010-11 and 2011-12 seasons registering 30 points (8-22-30).

Oklahoma City travels to San Antonio for its only contest this week. The Saturday game starts at 7 p.m. CT and airs locally on AM 1340 The Game.

NOTE: The Oilers assigned Ryan Hamilton to OKC in a separate transaction on November 5.
