LEACH, TREMBLAY LOANED TO BAKERSFIELD

The Oklahoma City Barons have loaned forward Nicholas Tremblay and defenseman Joey Leach to the Bakersfield Condors of the ECHL, General Manager Bill Scott announced today.

Tremblay signed an AHL contract with the Barons in July 2013. He played in one game for the team this past weekend. Tremblay played in 29 games for the Condors last year, registering 29 points (16-13-29).

Leach is in his first professional season after being signed by the Barons to an AHL contract in June 2013. He played in the regular season finale for the Barons last year, after signing an amateur tryout contract. Leach was a third round selection (73rd overall) of the Calgary Flames in the 2010 NHL Entry Draft.

Oklahoma City hits the road this weekend for a pair of games. The Barons face the Iowa Wild on Saturday, Oct. 12 at 7:05 p.m. CT and Sunday, Oct. 13 at 4:05 p.m. CT.
