The Edmonton Oilers have recalled forward Anton Lander and defenseman Oscar Klefbom on emergency recall basis from the Oklahoma City Barons, Oilers General Manager Craig MacTavish announced today.

Lander has 45 points in 42 games played for the Barons this season (17-28-45). The Barons captain had an assist Friday night in Oklahoma City’s 2-1 win over the Hamilton Bulldogs. Lander had an eight-game point streak from Jan. 24-Feb. 15. In 103 career games with Barons, Lander has 70 points (27-43-69).

Klefbom has nine points in 45 games played this year. His first career AHL goal came on Feb. 21 against the Grand Rapids Griffins.

Lander has previously been recalled by the Oilers on three occasions this year. He has played in 12 games with Edmonton this season. Klefbom was recalled by the Oilers on Nov. 15 but did not appear in a game.

Oklahoma City returns to action on Sunday at 4 p.m., when they travel to Rochester, N.Y. to take on the Americans. Oklahoma City returns home Tuesday to take on the San Antonio Rampage at 7 p.m. at the Cox Convention Center.
