BARONS ACQUIRE MILLER FROM BRIDGEPORT

The Oklahoma City Barons have acquired forward Greg Miller from the Bridgeport Sound Tigers in exchange for forward Nicholas Tremblay, General Manager Bill Scott announced today. Miller will report to the Bakersfield Condors of the ECHL.
Miller, a native of Toronto, has appeared in 37 games with the Thunder this season. He has 17 goals and 21 assists for 38 points. He started the season in Bridgeport and played nine AHL games for the Sound Tigers before being assigned to Stockton. Miller leads all ECHL rookies in power play goals with seven.
Miller played four years at Cornell University with 98 points (34-64-98). He had a collegiate career high 33 points (14-19-33) as a senior and helped lead the team to the ECAC championship.
Tremblay was signed by the Barons to an AHL contract on July 26, 2013. In 41 games played this season, he has eight goals and eight assists.
